Beto Santirso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Todd Gronow's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Beto Santirso made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Todd Gronow sent off a good shot on target. Sverker Danielsson scored 1-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Janpier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute of the match, Gerardo Etxepare tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Beto Santirso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after FC Wrocanka's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Inaki Mirabal took the corner. The corner led Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Inaki Mirabal to fire away a dangerous shot which Beto Santirso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Todd Gronow dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Beto Santirso, 2-1. In the 34th minute Inaki Mirabal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Santirso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Wrocanka's Kenneth Åkerman got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 42nd minute, Todd Gronow made a precise shot to the right of Beto Santirso. FC Wrocanka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Todd Gronow made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Todd Gronow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Todd Gronow's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beto Santirso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sverker Danielsson in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Janpier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Inaki Mirabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC made a substitution. Fabio Manuelo replaced Gerardo Etxepare. When Sverker Danielsson came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the FC Wrocanka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sverker Danielsson couldn't finish the play. Sverker Danielsson went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Sverker Danielsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abelardo Janpier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sverker Danielsson in the 93rd minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
