After a defensive mix-up in Ponte do Carro's zone, Sverker Danielsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Carmo came out of the goal and Sverker Danielsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Carmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverker Danielsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simão Boaventura hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Sverker Danielsson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of André Carmo, 1-0. FC Wrocanka's Tomasz Jarosz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Amado Vilalobos in the 25 minute of the game. Sverker Danielsson took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Carmo. André Carmo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. André Carmo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sverker Danielsson went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 33 minutes into the match, FC Wrocanka's goal looked a bit too open when Loukianos Livas came free, but Beto Santirso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goal looked a bit too open when Sverker Danielsson came free, but André Carmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beto Santirso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Boaventura, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After some careless play in the Ponte do Carro defense, Sverker Danielsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Carmo. The Ponte do Carro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Carmo should have stopped the shot. Beto Santirso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loukianos Livas's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenneth Åkerman got free with André Carmo in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alcino Jesus in the 47th minute of play forced FC Wrocanka's goalkeeper Beto Santirso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Sverker Danielsson made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Sverker Danielsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. André Carmo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FC Wrocanka's Beto Santirso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loukianos Livas in the 58th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Loukianos Livas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Beto Santirso. The goal made the score 5-1. 65 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goal looked a bit too open when Sverker Danielsson came free, but André Carmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Gil Vilhena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd match minute, Ponte do Carro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Vilhena to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ponte do Carro booed when FC Wrocanka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziemowit Wyrostek didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Wrocanka fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ponte do Carro had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
