The audience thought a goal was coming when Kęstutis Latoža got free with Frank Matanov in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Matanov made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Tomas Danilevičius sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Ömer Demirci notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FK Mintis Vilnius's Mustafa Kemal. Cisco Birlik FC's Mirza Togan got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Mirza Togan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Kemal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
