David Aberle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennvar Nickler in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Uetendorf Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Bennvar Nickler came free, but David Aberle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Sander Roeles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Pogba's supporters rose to their feet, but Sander Roeles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Aberle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Team Pogba's Sören Goethals managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alon LeBatelier in the 25 minute of the game. David Aberle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bennvar Nickler went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Team Pogba's Lech Urban proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Team Pogba from getting a goal against them. In the 31st minute Bennvar Nickler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Aberle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Team Pogba's Lech Urban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özcan Balcik in the 32nd minute of play. Bennvar Nickler might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Aberle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bennvar Nickler ran back to his position shaking his head. Lech Urban made an important save on a dangerous shot by Özcan Balcik in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute Sander Roeles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Aberle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 minutes Uetendorf Wanderers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sander Roeles who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Team Pogba's corner Sander Roeles fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and David Aberle quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bennvar Nickler in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Aberle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ismael Pitta hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. David Aberle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Nickler, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Elias Santxol was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 48 minutes into the match. The goalkeeper, Lech Urban, was totally fooled by Uetendorf Wanderers's Özcan Balcik, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bennvar Nickler to strike the kick off in the second half. Lech Urban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özcan Balcik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Giorgos Papaiakovou had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lech Urban. Team Pogba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giorgos Papaiakovou was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Team Pogba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bennvar Nickler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
