Claes Fender blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Marin having to make a save. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hala Madrid Iraki FC's goalkeeper Ruben Montez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hala Madrid Iraki FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hamlet Häfliger was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Dezassete's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Meng Di Jun in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruben Montez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mark Åberg made in the 31st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Dezassete's Frederico Pinheiro. Rabia Ünal made in the 31st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which André Kuipers however managed to control. In the 35th minute of the game Rabia Ünal made a throw-in which André Kuipers played forward. The throw-in from Mark Åberg in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Dezassete's Frederico Pinheiro. FC Dezassete's Isac Bomba managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rabia Ünal in the 37 minute of the game. Claes Fender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Marin having to interfere. With a little luck, Hala Madrid Iraki FC's Ruben Montez got control of the ball when Meng Di Jun tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Meng Di Jun to strike the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quintino Prates couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Branco Tinto in the 85th minute of play forced Hala Madrid Iraki FC's goalkeeper Ruben Montez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Sjögren in the 87th minute of play. Mark Åberg's late challenge caught a FC Dezassete's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Branco Tinto in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ruben Montez saved Hala Madrid Iraki FC from getting behind. Hamlet Häfliger took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ruben Montez. Hala Madrid Iraki FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC Dezassete players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
