San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Lester Serre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Bjurström in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, FC Kolos's Lars Bjurström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lester Serre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Vladyslav Galuschak got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lester Serre quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Rosio in the 9th minute of play forced FC Kolos's goalkeeper Geovani Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes San Lorenzo de Sarandi got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Mouricio. Lars Bjurström struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Lester Serre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kolos. 18 minutes into the match, FC Kolos's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Rosio came free, but Geovani Baiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match San Lorenzo de Sarandi got a corner. FC Kolos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Camilo Mouricio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Robert Smith to fire away a dangerous shot which Geovani Baiano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Bjurström in the 21st minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Lester Serre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Leonides Rosio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovani Baiano was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Lester Serre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Bjurström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Leonides Rosio got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lars Bjurström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lester Serre having to interfere. A collision led to FC Kolos getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Anatoliy Musiyko hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the game, Tykhon Burdiyan threw the ball into play from the sideline. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Prospero Mergildo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lars Bjurström was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of FC Kolos booed when San Lorenzo de Sarandi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Mergildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tykhon Burdiyan hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. San Lorenzo de Sarandi made a substitution. Lorenzo Jerrold replaced Venancio Piorno. Tykhon Burdiyan kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Jerrold in the 75th minute of play forced FC Kolos's goalkeeper Geovani Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geovani Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Jerrold in the 76th minute of play. FC Kolos were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after San Lorenzo de Sarandi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vladyslav Galuschak took the corner. FC Kolos's Vladyslav Galuschak was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lester Serre in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lorenzo Jerrold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lester Serre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Bjurström, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute Lars Bjurström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lester Serre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camilo Mouricio got free with Geovani Baiano in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vasco Olarticoechea kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Svyatoslav Musiyko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kolos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lorenzo de Sarandi the free kick. A collision led to FC Kolos getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Svyatoslav Musiyko hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the game, Ceferino Cuervo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Geovani Baiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
