Spectators: 7706 (Terracing: 5781, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eden Neuville kicked off to start the match. Fidel Sauveur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Berasko in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6thth minute of the game Boleslaw Zielinski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mala FC's Fidel Sauveur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Lyons's Boleslaw Zielinski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fidel Sauveur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Lyons's Boleslaw Zielinski in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mala FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Mala FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Eden Neuville hit a great ball. Boleslaw Zielinski might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fidel Sauveur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boleslaw Zielinski ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute Boleslaw Zielinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Sauveur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fidel Sauveur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boleslaw Zielinski in the 24th minute of the match. Boleslaw Zielinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Sauveur having to interfere. Boleslaw Zielinski took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Sauveur. Fidel Sauveur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Boleslaw Zielinski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fidel Sauveur was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Mala FC's Fidel Sauveur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boleslaw Zielinski in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Boleslaw Zielinski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fidel Sauveur. Mala FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boleslaw Zielinski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After the first half Lyons were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the match, Mala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Boleslaw Zielinski came free, but Fidel Sauveur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Mala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. Lyons's Stig Åkerberg was substituted for Aurelio Vasco. In the 64th minute, Lyons's Dariusz Roano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Luisito Quinten didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eden Neuville went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Mala FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Dariusz Roano scored to the left of an out of position Fidel Sauveur, making the score, 1-5. Mala FC's Fidel Sauveur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Mala FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadeu Trancoso during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Tadeu Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dariusz Roano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidel Sauveur having to make a save. 88 minutes into the game, Dariusz Roano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fidel Sauveur. Dariusz Roano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. In the 94th minute, Dariusz Roano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fidel Sauveur. The goal made the score 1-7. The Mala FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lyons were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
