Ovidiu Caranfil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boleslaw Zielinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boleslaw Zielinski got free with Ovidiu Caranfil in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute Lyons were awarded a corner. Marcos Berasko went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Club Vertigo's goalie and right to Austin Muller. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Club Vertigo's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boleslaw Zielinski in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidiu Caranfil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil got control of the ball when Boleslaw Zielinski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute Lyons were awarded a corner. Marcos Berasko went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcos Berasko made a great header on Lyons's corner, it was just that Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil managed to reach the ball for a save. Club Vertigo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Boleslaw Zielinski scored to the left of an out of position Ovidiu Caranfil, making the score, 2-0. In the 41st of the match, Austin Muller tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ovidiu Caranfil got in the way and made a wonderful save. Ovidiu Caranfil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boleslaw Zielinski in the 51st minute of the match. Boleslaw Zielinski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidiu Caranfil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Boleslaw Zielinski came free, but Ovidiu Caranfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lyons made a substitution. Stig Åkerberg replaced Aurelio Vasco. In the 69th minute, Nistor Iftimescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 minutes of play, Lyons's Dariusz Roano made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidiu Caranfil was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lyons's goalkeeper Luisito Quinten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Dariusz Roano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
