The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Lyons booed when Charmander City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Gaufred didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliks Dec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boleslaw Zielinski's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Lyons's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Moreno came free, but Luisito Quinten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Dedê Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Quinten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jairo Gaufred hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Jairo Gaufred made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Dedê Moreno however managed to control. Feliks Dec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boleslaw Zielinski in the 29th minute of the match. Charmander City's Feliks Dec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Charmander City from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, Boleslaw Zielinski notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Charmander City's Feliks Dec. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Boleslaw Zielinski to strike the kick off in the second half. Feliks Dec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boleslaw Zielinski in the 51st minute of play. If Boleslaw Zielinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. Feliks Dec made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Jairo Gaufred fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Charmander City's protests and gave Jairo Gaufred a yellow card for diving instead. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 84 minutes into the game, Dariusz Roano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Feliks Dec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Dariusz Roano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliks Dec was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Charmander City's Feliks Dec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Roano in the 91st minute of play. Austin Muller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Feliks Dec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lyons had won after a very even match.
