After a rather tough play, Palermo AFC's Egon Lätte got a free kick in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steven Homan in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Primitivo Jeraldo saved Palermo AFC from getting behind. The SV Balverliefd fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when SV Balverliefd's Steven Homan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alvaro Patxi hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After taking down the ball on Palermo AFC's corner Cao Xi Kuan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yorrick Zoethout quite easily take care of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, SV Balverliefd's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Bautista came free, but Yorrick Zoethout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Bautista in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yorrick Zoethout prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Palermo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Bautista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SV Balverliefd eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
