Laçın Cumayev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laçın Cumayev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Przemyslaw Ciupierdo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jon-Erik Ringvold narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jon-Erik Ringvold saved Real Helland from getting behind. In the 21st minute Tor-Kristian Seim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laçın Cumayev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Helland's Jon-Erik Ringvold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 22nd minute of play. Zigmantas Gimbutas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jon-Erik Ringvold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Real Helland defense, Zigmantas Gimbutas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jon-Erik Ringvold. The Real Helland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jon-Erik Ringvold should have stopped the shot. If Tor-Kristian Seim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jon-Erik Ringvold made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Zigmantas Gimbutas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Real Helland defense, Zigmantas Gimbutas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jon-Erik Ringvold. The Real Helland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jon-Erik Ringvold should have stopped the shot. Laçın Cumayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Przemyslaw Ciupierdo in the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Przemyslaw Ciupierdo made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Laçın Cumayev successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Laçın Cumayev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Przemyslaw Ciupierdo in the 56th minute of the match. Laçın Cumayev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Tofani in the 57th minute. Zigmantas Gimbutas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jon-Erik Ringvold having to make a save. Przemyslaw Ciupierdo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laçın Cumayev having to interfere. SC Braga's Antonio Cieri was substituted for Benjamin de Lara. When Constantijn Belmans fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Helland's protests and gave Constantijn Belmans a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Real Helland getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Constantijn Belmans hit a great ball. Stig-Åke Mattsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jon-Erik Ringvold having to interfere. Real Helland's Jon-Erik Ringvold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Stig-Åke Mattsson made a precise shot to the right of Jon-Erik Ringvold. Real Helland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Stig-Åke Mattsson struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Jon-Erik Ringvold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Braga. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Stig-Åke Mattsson sped through Real Helland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jon-Erik Ringvold. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jon-Erik Ringvold prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 90 minutes, Stig-Åke Mattsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Braga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Åke Mattsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 95th minute, Stig-Åke Mattsson made a precise shot to the right of Jon-Erik Ringvold. Real Helland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Real Helland's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
