Bernardo Tofani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Augusto Quintal having to make a save. Carlos Augusto Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Montenegro in the 13th minute of play forced Real Helland's goalkeeper Jon-Erik Ringvold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jon-Erik Ringvold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Saldanha in the 15th minute of the match. Tor-Kristian Seim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Carlos Augusto Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doriva Dante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Carlos Augusto Quintal made a huge save. In the 28thth minute of the game Tor-Kristian Seim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Várzea F.C.'s Carlos Augusto Quintal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29th match minute, Várzea F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. When Várzea F.C.'s Dé Montenegro in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Helland's goalie prevented a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Real Helland's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Saldanha came free, but Jon-Erik Ringvold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Várzea F.C.'s corner Dé Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jon-Erik Ringvold quite easily take care of the ball. Jon-Erik Ringvold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Saldanha in the 37th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tor-Kristian Seim in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Augusto Quintal saved Várzea F.C. from getting behind. Jon-Erik Ringvold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dé Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Dé Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jon-Erik Ringvold. That made the score 0-1 in the 51 minute of play. If Rogério Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Jon-Erik Ringvold successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 58 minutes Real Helland's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luiz Eduardo Alcântara who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Várzea F.C. booed when Real Helland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Przemyslaw Ciupierdo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Real Helland's goalkeeper Jon-Erik Ringvold had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dé Montenegro. Real Helland's Jon-Erik Ringvold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro Duarte in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Real Helland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Klokk to maneuver through the defense. Jon-Erik Ringvold acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 68th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luiz Eduardo Alcântara. Carlos Augusto Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Przemyslaw Ciupierdo in the 69th minute of play. Dé Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anderson Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Várzea F.C. getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Dé Montenegro hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Real Helland's goalkeeper Jon-Erik Ringvold had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dé Montenegro. Jon-Erik Ringvold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anderson Paiva in the 89th minute of play. Carlos Augusto Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Przemyslaw Ciupierdo in the 91st minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Real Helland's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Paiva came free, but Jon-Erik Ringvold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jon-Erik Ringvold stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anderson Paiva's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Real Helland's Jon-Erik Ringvold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Paiva in the 96th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
