Zigmantas Gimbutas struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Radislav Hošťálek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Braga. Zigmantas Gimbutas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radislav Hošťálek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Lu Xun Lei heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 14th minute, Zigmantas Gimbutas made a precise shot to the right of Radislav Hošťálek. Froghino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Pipis Dilberis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radislav Hošťálek having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Froghino's goal looked a bit too open when Zigmantas Gimbutas came free, but Radislav Hošťálek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Zigmantas Gimbutas made a precise shot to the right of Radislav Hošťálek. Froghino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Radislav Hošťálek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save SC Braga from getting a goal against them. The Froghino fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radislav Hošťálek should have stopped the shot. Valdomiro Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Kunovský got free with Laçın Cumayev in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Kunovský in the 46th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Laçın Cumayev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zigmantas Gimbutas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Radislav Hošťálek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zigmantas Gimbutas was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Zigmantas Gimbutas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miroslav Valchář fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laçın Cumayev having to interfere. SC Braga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jiří Skrbek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. SC Braga made a substitution. Geraldo Lucas replaced André Jordão. Froghino's Radislav Hošťálek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 73rd minute of play. Laçın Cumayev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiří Skrbek, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Stig-Åke Mattsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Radislav Hošťálek made a huge save. 83 minutes into the match, Stig-Åke Mattsson notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Froghino's Radislav Hošťálek. Radislav Hošťálek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute Vendelín Jasanský shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laçın Cumayev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 minutes, Stig-Åke Mattsson made it 2-6 with a short kick to the right side. Froghino's Radislav Hošťálek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vendelín Jasanský took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laçın Cumayev. Laçın Cumayev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-6. Chants of SC Braga echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Froghino had held the ball for most of the match.
