With a little luck, Várzea F.C.'s Carlos Augusto Quintal got control of the ball when Dževad Kasimović tried to sneak it across the goal line. Izydor Karbowski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Timo! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Izydor Karbowski to maneuver through the defense. Timo!'s Elpidio Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro Duarte in the 28th minute of play. Valdomiro Duarte took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elpidio Amor. Elpidio Amor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 36th minute, Rogério Saldanha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Várzea F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. With an all-out effort, Timo!'s Carlos Augusto Quintal threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dževad Kasimović, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Dé Montenegro made the kick off in the second half. Santos Burutzagi kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Elpidio Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 55th minute Valdomiro Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dé Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Hurmuz in the 68th minute of play forced Várzea F.C.'s goalkeeper Carlos Augusto Quintal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Várzea F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cihat Canbek came free, but Carlos Augusto Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Valdomiro Duarte reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elpidio Amor. The goal made the score 0-5. If Ilie Hurmuz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 78 played minutes Timo! got a freekick which was hit by Izydor Karbowski. When Daniel Isăceanu fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Várzea F.C.'s protests and gave Daniel Isăceanu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Timo! booed when Várzea F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Isăceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute of the match Tiburcio Pacifico shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Augusto Quintal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Elpidio Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Dé Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Elpidio Amor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdomiro Duarte scored 0-6 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elpidio Amor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
