Spectators: 7728 (Terracing: 5797, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Benjamin de Lara took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Primitivo Jeraldo to make any attempt to save it. 6 minutes into the match, Palermo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin de Lara came free, but Primitivo Jeraldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the SC Braga defense, Rodrigo Bautista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laçın Cumayev. The SC Braga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laçın Cumayev should have stopped the shot. Stig-Åke Mattsson took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Primitivo Jeraldo. Primitivo Jeraldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig-Åke Mattsson in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Primitivo Jeraldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute of the match SC Braga got a corner. Palermo AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Charl De Metser ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Charl De Metser got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Primitivo Jeraldo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Stig-Åke Mattsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Primitivo Jeraldo having to make a save. Primitivo Jeraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game was made by Amado Parente with Benjamin de Lara as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Charl De Metser got a free kick in the 38th minute. Marcelo Domiku scored 2-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laçın Cumayev, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Laçın Cumayev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Bautista, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Primitivo Jeraldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Mattsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Bautista made the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Bautista came free, but Laçın Cumayev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68thth minute of the game Stig-Åke Mattsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palermo AFC's Primitivo Jeraldo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laçın Cumayev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodrigo Bautista in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Stig-Åke Mattsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Braga's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Åke Mattsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Primitivo Jeraldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas was substituted for Stig-Åke Mattsson. Laçın Cumayev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Bautista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Palermo AFC's Primitivo Jeraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 86th minute of play. After taking down the ball on SC Braga's corner André Jordão fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Primitivo Jeraldo quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Braga's zone, Rodrigo Bautista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laçın Cumayev came out of the goal and Rodrigo Bautista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
