After 3 played minutes Buritama Sports got a freekick which was hit by Dalmo da Silveira. Daniel Şimandan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Murilo Ferreira. Buritama Sports's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 8th minute Alexsandro Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanick Knecht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Buritama Sports's Abelardo da Fonseca in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalie prevented a goal. Alexsandro Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomé Perpiñán in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Dias in the 17th minute of play forced LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalkeeper Yanick Knecht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonid Afteni took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Murilo Ferreira. Murilo Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Aristide Păunescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Murilo Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yanick Knecht took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo da Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the match, Bartolomé Perpiñán dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Murilo Ferreira, 3-0. Murilo Ferreira made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Bartolomé Perpiñán sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Buritama Sports's Murilo Ferreira got control of the ball when Bartolomé Perpiñán tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo da Fonseca in the 37th minute of play forced LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalkeeper Yanick Knecht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Aydın Bilgiç got a free kick in the 40th minute. Yanick Knecht came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Buritama Sports's Wang Wei Sha. But to his dismay, Wang Wei Sha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Yanick Knecht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo da Fonseca in the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by LIVIUS UNITED MLS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wang Wei Sha was slow to take the kick. During this time Buritama Sports's players had a chance to rest. Wang Wei Sha took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yanick Knecht. Yanick Knecht dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. 74 minutes into the match, Buritama Sports's goal looked a bit too open when Marcu Iosub came free, but Murilo Ferreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Buritama Sports getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Alexsandro Aguiar hit a great ball. Buritama Sports's Amauri Peixoto was substituted for Wang Wei Sha. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Yanick Knecht played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Peixoto in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doriva Souto in the 89th minute of play forced LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalkeeper Yanick Knecht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th match minute, LIVIUS UNITED MLS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Catry to maneuver through the defense. After 93 played minutes Buritama Sports got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Leão. 96 minutes into the game, Amauri Peixoto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yanick Knecht. Amauri Peixoto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
