César Boldrini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcu Iosub, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartolomé Perpiñán fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Boldrini having to interfere. Yanick Knecht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Diniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonid Afteni in the 31st minute of play forced Vila Industrial FC's goalkeeper César Boldrini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalkeeper Yanick Knecht, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 88 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Aydın Bilgiç fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. A collision led to LIVIUS UNITED MLS getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Bartolomé Perpiñán hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Arthur Guedes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yanick Knecht. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arthur Guedes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 95th minute Arthur Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanick Knecht saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
