Selebi-Phikwe's Abid Bubalo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eduard Gaciu, made in the 3rd minute of the game. Christof Deroek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manolo Robledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 9 played minutes Selebi-Phikwe got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Brites. PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's Nemesio Turri shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 10th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Christof Deroek but with some difficulty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Louis-Philippe Pelsmaeckers in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guntademaro Macera saved PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnathan Bowden in the 12th minute of play forced PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's goalkeeper Guntademaro Macera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manolo Robledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Christof Deroek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Selebi-Phikwe's Christof Deroek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manolo Robledo in the 26th minute of play. Christof Deroek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolo Robledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Orlando Artigas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Colle took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christof Deroek. Christof Deroek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Manolo Robledo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Christof Deroek made a huge save. Guntademaro Macera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Louis-Philippe Pelsmaeckers in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Selebi-Phikwe getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Abid Bubalo hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC made a substitution. Martin Viñe replaced Bernardo Colle. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Viñe was the one to do the kick off. Erik Van Buyten made in the 55th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Johnathan Bowden. Despite this Guntademaro Macera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Guntademaro Macera came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Selebi-Phikwe's Johnathan Bowden. But to his dismay, Johnathan Bowden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Jeziorkowski in the 71st minute of play forced Selebi-Phikwe's goalkeeper Christof Deroek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jose Manuel Lara hit a great ball. Guntademaro Macera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnathan Bowden in the 77th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guntademaro Macera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Selebi-Phikwe's Rafik Oliwa got a free kick in the 91st minute. Vaggelis Sofianos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christof Deroek. Selebi-Phikwe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 94 played minutes, PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's Vaggelis Sofianos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christof Deroek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC reached it. After a rather tough play, PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's Jose Manuel Lara got a free kick in the 95th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
