Johnathan Bowdens short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Roman Masharov to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johnathan Bowden stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Christof Deroek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Tartales in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Tartales in the 59th minute of play forced Selebi-Phikwe's goalkeeper Christof Deroek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Masharov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnathan Bowden in the 62nd minute of play. Johnathan Bowden might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Masharov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johnathan Bowden ran back to his position shaking his head. Roman Masharov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnathan Bowden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Selebi-Phikwe fans cheered their team off the field, for while ............ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
