Vampiros Aztecas's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Erikas Mikoliūnas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Verheydt went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the match, FC COSA NOSTRA's goal looked a bit too open when Rolf Weyand came free, but Erikas Mikoliūnas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Ubaldo Abeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erikas Mikoliūnas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vampiros Aztecas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The FC COSA NOSTRA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vampiros Aztecas were winning 0-2.
The wind increased when Artūras Ronaldo made the kick off in the second half. Vampiros Aztecas's Juan Chayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artūras Ronaldo in the 51st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Vampiros Aztecas's Erikas Mikoliūnas threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Thomas Verheydt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Juan Chayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislaw Trojanowski in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Artūras Ronaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juan Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislaw Trojanowski in the 63rd minute of play. Vampiros Aztecas's Juan Chayo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Vampiros Aztecas's goal looked a bit too open when Artūras Ronaldo came free, but Juan Chayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
