Spectators: 7714 (Terracing: 5787, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Robin Steckamp started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Steckamp came free, but Menios Chloros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Wambalamba FC booed when Mean Machine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agnaldo Braga didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nedim Emekli in the 8th minute of play forced Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Cris Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10thth minute of the game Juarês Donato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mean Machine's Menios Chloros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Wambalamba FC got a corner. Mean Machine's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brian Finnman ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 14th match minute, Mean Machine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniil Bonoris to maneuver through the defense. Cris Courtois made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carles Pujol in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Miltos Makris notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Wambalamba FC's Cris Courtois. Cris Courtois was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mean Machine's Menios Chloros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juarês Donato in the 31st minute of play. Menios Chloros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Carlos Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Carles Pujol made a precise shot to the right of Cris Courtois. Wambalamba FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nedim Emekli got free with Cris Courtois in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Wambalamba FC defense, Agnaldo Braga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cris Courtois. The Wambalamba FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cris Courtois should have stopped the shot. After 48 minutes of play, Wambalamba FC's Juarês Donato made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Menios Chloros was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nedim Emekli was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carles Pujol in the 57th minute of play forced Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Cris Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Miltos Makris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cris Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Carles Pujol. Brian Finnman struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Menios Chloros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wambalamba FC. Cris Courtois stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nedim Emekli's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Andre-Yann Dospel's late challenge caught a Mean Machine's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andre-Yann Dospel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Andre-Yann Dospel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Nikos Stasinos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Jacek Przybyciel in the 96th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mean Machine's Luca Milivojević. When the referee ended the match the Mean Machine players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
