Terceirense F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gentil Setúbal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 17 minutes of play, Terceirense F.C.'s Gentil Setúbal made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zhang Hong Xun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zhang Hong Xun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gentil Setúbal in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Pirès in the 24th minute of play forced Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Máximo Laureano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zhang Hong Xun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gentil Setúbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Old BaoBaB Accademy's goalkeeper Zhang Hong Xun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Máximo Laureano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Ursino. In the 47th minute Antonio Di Luca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Laureano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gentil Setúbal was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Old BaoBaB Accademy's Renos Karaflas got a free kick in the 80th minute. Renos Karaflas kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Old BaoBaB Accademy got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Ursino. Zhang Hong Xun was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xavi Xavier showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 93 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Terceirense F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
