Cipriano Bernat started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes into the game, Absalon Berritsgård cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mads Hermansen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th minute, Absalon Berritsgård ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mads Hermansen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mads Hermansen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Gall in the 15th minute of play. Cipriano Bernat received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Torjus Solvoll came out and tried to block the shot, but Cipriano Bernat slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 21st minute. Cipriano Bernat blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torjus Solvoll having to make a save. In the 26th minute Cipriano Bernat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torjus Solvoll saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Gettrup SIK defense, Cipriano Bernat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torjus Solvoll. The Gettrup SIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torjus Solvoll should have stopped the shot. Torjus Solvoll made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Cipriano Bernat sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute, Keld Popp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gettrup SIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Cipriano Bernat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 40 played minutes Papato Tatengue got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Flor. After having played for 42 minutes, Absalon Berritsgård managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gettrup SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Absalon Berritsgård was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Gettrup SIK booed when Papato Tatengue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Üllar Vilba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Zenon Gall made the kick off in the second half. Torjus Solvoll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Bernat in the 55th minute of play. Torjus Solvoll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute.
