Xiao Wei Yan was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 15 minutes into the match, FC Dundee's Kaido Jaas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timmy Kjellkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 19 minutes, Bertil Kalfhage managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Hans's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertil Kalfhage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xiao Wei Yan in the 24th minute of play forced FC Dundee's goalkeeper Ain Averin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hardi Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvo Kena in the 28th minute of play forced FC Hans's goalkeeper Timmy Kjellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Guido Arujärv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, FC Dundee's Guido Arujärv got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ain Averin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xiao Wei Yan in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of FC Hans booed when FC Dundee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Arujärv didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guido Arujärv during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Dundee getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Guido Arujärv hit a great ball. In the 40th minute of the match FC Hans got a corner. FC Dundee's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bertil Kalfhage ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xiao Wei Yan in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ain Averin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

FC Dundee made a substitution. Arno Luuk replaced Hardi Lind. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bennvar Baadegaard to strike the kick off in the second half. FC Hans's Fabinho Tinoco quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guido Arujärv, made in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 55th minute, FC Dundee's Arno Luuk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. After 60 minutes of play FC Dundee's Guido Arujärv was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. FC Hans's Remigio James was substituted for Torbjörn Andreasson. Viorel Moldovan might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ain Averin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viorel Moldovan ran back to his position shaking his head. Ain Averin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Moldovan in the 63rd minute of play. The throw-in from Edvin Hargi in the 66th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Hans's Fabinho Tinoco. In the 66th minute, Arvo Kena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viorel Moldovan struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Ain Averin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Hans. 75 minutes into the match, Arno Luuk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Timmy Kjellkvist. FC Hans's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arno Luuk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 81 minutes into the match, FC Dundee's goal looked a bit too open when Bennvar Baadegaard came free, but Ain Averin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ain Averin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Moldovan in the 93rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Viorel Moldovan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ain Averin was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. FC Dundee's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
