In the 16th minute of the match 1909 Tarnovia got a corner. Poetass FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zdzislaw Biraga ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Ulryk Podolski, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 16 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The José Maria Goiano was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witalis Brysz in the 21st minute of play forced 1909 Tarnovia's goalkeeper Maksymilian Prusinowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prosper Vandamme in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Maria Goiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Poetass FC fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Poetass FC's Zeng Xu Yuan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 44th minute Zenon Hetman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Maria Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Gondela, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After 47 played minutes Poetass FC got a freekick which was hit by Jon-Egil Schjelderup. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 96th match minute, 1909 Tarnovia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominik Luty to maneuver through the defense. Poetass FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
