In the 15th minute Gordon Suarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Roig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gordon Suarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Naldo Roig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Evaristo Gurruchaga hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulin Sequeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaskon Gimeno. After 30 minutes of play, Picanya FC's Gaskon Gimeno made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulin Sequeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Janari Hinn hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Desiderio Elias made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vanadio F.C.'s Evaristo Gurruchaga. After a rather tough play, Vanadio F.C.'s Janari Hinn got a free kick in the 40th minute. Naldo Roig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gordon Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Naldo Roig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gordon Suarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gordon Suarez was the one to do the kick off. Paulin Sequeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henric Villaquiran in the 59th minute of play. In the 64th match minute, Vanadio F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Errapel Hernando to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Errapel Hernando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Picanya FC's Naldo Roig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leizarraga Olmedo in the 68th minute of play. Paulin Sequeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaskon Gimeno in the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gordon Suarez in the 76th minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Vanadio F.C.'s Gordon Suarez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Naldo Roig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Desiderio Elias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
