When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gordon Suarez made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Zé Paulo Lucas took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Paulin Sequeiros to make any attempt to save it. Rıfat Şahin's late challenge caught a FC Jones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
