Spectators: 7745 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) AC Morena's Aquiles Gana started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 15th minute, Damazy Posadzki fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 17th minute Patryk Snaza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dražen Ladić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to AC Morena getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Álvaro Fonseca hit a great ball. Marian Duda shot from long distance in the 18th minute, but Dražen Ladić was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The Irons Chorzów's Piotr Lech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Gana in the 19th minute of play. Dražen Ladić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Posadzki in the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, AC Morena's Aquiles Gana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Piotr Lech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 28 minutes into the match, The Irons Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Gana came free, but Piotr Lech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dražen Ladić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patryk Snaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, The Irons Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Gana came free, but Piotr Lech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Gana in the 34th minute of play forced The Irons Chorzów's goalkeeper Piotr Lech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pawel Kochanowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Dražen Ladić made a huge save. Alfred Babicki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Dražen Ladić skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 38th minute Alfred Babicki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dražen Ladić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Marian Duda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piotr Lech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Gana, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. AC Morena were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after The Irons Chorzów's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Álvaro Fonseca took the corner. The corner ended in Álvaro Fonseca almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Irons Chorzów's Piotr Lech did a great save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pawel Kochanowski to strike the kick off in the second half. When Álvaro Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the AC Morena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Fonseca couldn't finish the play. Piotr Lech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquiles Gana's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute of the match AC Morena got a corner. The Irons Chorzów's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Álvaro Fonseca ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dražen Ladić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patryk Snaza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patryk Snaza in the 62nd minute of play forced AC Morena's goalkeeper Dražen Ladić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Aquiles Gana recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Piotr Lech. Aquiles Gana showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The audience was convinced that Alfred Babicki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dražen Ladić was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 85th match minute, The Irons Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Babicki to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, AC Morena's goal looked a bit too open when Pawel Kochanowski came free, but Dražen Ladić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marian Duda's late challenge caught a AC Morena's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marian Duda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st minute of the match, Aquiles Gana got a very nice opportunity to score, but Piotr Lech was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dražen Ladić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Babicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, AC Morena's Aquiles Gana ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Piotr Lech. Piotr Lech yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. The AC Morena supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AC Morena would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
