Edinho Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristide Iureș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paunero were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jose Rosario took the corner. In the 18th minute Paunero were awarded a corner. Jose Rosario went to the cornerflag to take it. Albino Inguma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zinédine Orange in the 20th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's corner Bruno-Henrique Orange fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Albino Inguma quite easily take care of the ball. The Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Bruno-Henrique Orange looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 28th minute, Zico Orange made a precise shot to the right of Albino Inguma. Paunero's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Albino Inguma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zico Orange in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bec Orange to maneuver through the defense. Edinho Pirani was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Francesco Cilli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Francesco Cilli really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 53rd minute Zico Orange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Inguma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes Paunero got a freekick which was hit by Francesco Cilli. Paunero's Vinicio Palos was substituted for Cristian Peli. Francesco Cilli hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Francesco Cilli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruno-Henrique Orange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edinho Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Ederono in the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Paunero's goalkeeper Albino Inguma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno-Henrique Orange. In the 70th minute of the match Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ got a corner. Paunero's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aldair Orange ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zinédine Orange was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Bruno-Henrique Orange could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Albino Inguma made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno-Henrique Orange got free with Albino Inguma in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Francesco Cilli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edinho Pirani was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 79 minutes into the game, Paunero's Higinio Ticho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edinho Pirani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. After 84 minutes Paunero's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aldair Orange who took care of the corner kick. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Edinho Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristide Iureș in the 86th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Aristide Iureș's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edinho Pirani was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Paunero's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jose Rosario in the 87th minute. Edinho Pirani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aristide Iureș went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. In the 92nd minute, Salvador Maiorga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Aristide Iureș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edinho Pirani was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-3. Paunero's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
