After some careless play in the Picanya FC defense, Aquiles Gana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Naldo Roig. The Picanya FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Naldo Roig should have stopped the shot. Dražen Ladić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henric Villaquiran in the 24th minute. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Aquiles Gana put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Naldo Roig. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaskon Gimeno got free with Dražen Ladić in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd match minute, AC Morena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerzy Piwowarski to maneuver through the defense. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aquiles Gana made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Gana in the 52nd minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AC Morena's Dražen Ladić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henric Villaquiran in the 54th minute of play. Picanya FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Henric Villaquiran in the 55th minute. The corner led Picanya FC's Henric Villaquiran to fire away a dangerous shot which Dražen Ladić despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Gana in the 59th minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to AC Morena getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jerzy Piwowarski hit a great ball. Picanya FC's Jonathan Reina was substituted for Henric Villaquiran. Naldo Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Gana in the 82nd minute of play. Gregory Bermejo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquiles Gana in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naldo Roig saved Picanya FC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Aquiles Gana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Naldo Roig. That made the score 1-5 in the 88 minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the game Guilabertus Martinez made a throw-in which Gaskon Gimeno played forward. After a rather tough play, AC Morena's Alex Cellucci got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AC Morena had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
