Ture Dybro struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. 俞冰帆 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AL TOKE FC. 18 minutes into the match, Albirex Niigata FC's goalkeeper 俞冰帆 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ján Novák. Caio Ponte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sharizan Chee, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. AL TOKE FC's Caio Ponte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Belém in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Albirex Niigata FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faris Laycock to maneuver through the defense. The corner led AL TOKE FC's Laureano Gimenez to fire away a dangerous shot which 俞冰帆 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to AL TOKE FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ture Dybro hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ján Novák was the one to do the kick off. Faris Laycock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Caio Ponte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Belém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 62nd minute, but Caio Ponte got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving AL TOKE FC hanging dry this time. Ján Novák blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 俞冰帆 having to make a save. Alexander Tan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ján Novák fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 俞冰帆 having to interfere. AL TOKE FC's Caio Ponte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save AL TOKE FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 76 minutes, Diego Belém managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albirex Niigata FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Belém was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78thth minute of the game Ján Novák who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Albirex Niigata FC's 俞冰帆 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, AL TOKE FC's Caio Ponte got control of the ball when Diego Belém tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albirex Niigata FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
