After a defensive mix-up in Albirex Niigata FC's zone, Dominik Spychalski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 俞冰帆 came out of the goal and Dominik Spychalski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, FC Alkomaty's Augusto Corrêa got control of the ball when Diego Belém tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dominik Spychalski in the 23rd minute of play forced Albirex Niigata FC's goalkeeper 俞冰帆 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Alkomaty booed when Albirex Niigata FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Yi-Sheng didn't get a good kick on the ball. 俞冰帆 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Spychalski in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, FC Alkomaty's goalkeeper Augusto Corrêa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Belém. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shi Chuan Cheng during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Shi Chuan Cheng hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Augusto Corrêa made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Diego Belém sent off a good shot on target. 俞冰帆 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Przebendowski in the 35th minute of the match. Jonathan Yi-Sheng kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Albirex Niigata FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miromir Przebendowski came free, but 俞冰帆 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Albirex Niigata FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Patryk Komornicki was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Alkomaty's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Patryk Komornicki got away a dangerous shot. Despite this 俞冰帆 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 俞冰帆 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Spychalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Miromir Przebendowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Belém in the 63rd minute of play. In the 69th minute Dominik Spychalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 俞冰帆 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute FC Alkomaty were awarded a corner. Patryk Komornicki went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to FC Alkomaty's Miromir Przebendowski getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Alexander Tan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Corrêa having to interfere. In the 78th minute Diego Belém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 俞冰帆 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Spychalski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Miromir Przebendowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. Shi Chuan Cheng made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Albirex Niigata FC's Amir Pieng. After having played for 94 minutes, Dominik Spychalski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Alkomaty's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominik Spychalski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Yi-Sheng hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
