In the 13th match minute, AL TOKE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remo Dracena to maneuver through the defense. Caio Ponte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Isaksson in the 15th minute of the match. André Nordmark didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. When Laureano Gimenez came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the AL TOKE FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laureano Gimenez couldn't finish the play. Caio Ponte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Björkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 33rd minute Hassan Yusuf suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrik Löv during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Blueskatterna's Henrik Löv got a free kick in the 34th minute. Caio Ponte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Isaksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermegildo Orti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of André Nordmark when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 39th minute of the match AL TOKE FC got a corner. FC Blueskatterna's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Laureano Gimenez ran over to the corner to take the kick. André Nordmark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo Dracena in the 42nd minute of play. After 42 played minutes AL TOKE FC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Orain. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by AL TOKE FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Henrik Löv was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Blueskatterna's players had a chance to rest. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Björkman made a kick off. With an all-out effort, FC Blueskatterna's Caio Ponte threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kevin Fagrell, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. AL TOKE FC's Caio Ponte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Fagrell in the 52nd minute of play. André Nordmark showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Orti in the 53rd minute of the match. Alex Isaksson took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caio Ponte. Caio Ponte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 58thth minute of the game Ján Novák who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Blueskatterna's André Nordmark was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. AL TOKE FC's Caio Ponte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Fagrell in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ján Novák in the 62nd minute of play forced FC Blueskatterna's goalkeeper André Nordmark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ermegildo Orti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Blueskatterna's Östen Wik was substituted for Joachim Bergman. AL TOKE FC's Caio Ponte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Falkrans in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th match minute, FC Blueskatterna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Löv to maneuver through the defense. Caio Ponte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Isaksson in the 85th minute. Peter Björkman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Caio Ponte made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Remo Dracena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Nordmark was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Henrik Löv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Caio Ponte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Blueskatterna's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
