An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Iacobescu in the 35th minute of play forced Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Jimeno Nevada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Tadeo Precioso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurel Teodoroiu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jimeno Nevada having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Club Atlético Magallanes's Manoel Barros was substituted for Tadeo Precioso. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Sandu Porumbescu was substituted for Emilian Şoimaru. The wind increased when Taci Argün made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes Club Atlético Magallanes's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aurelian Odobescu who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Aurel Teodoroiu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurel Teodoroiu in the 57th minute of play forced Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Jimeno Nevada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Magallanes's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aurelian Odobescu was slow to take the kick. During this time FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. Niculae Rădvan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Sierocki in the 67th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Jan Sierocki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Niculae Rădvan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st minute Gavino Rami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Rădvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Teodoroiu came free, but Jimeno Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ruperto Salvadore came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Club Atlético Magallanes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruperto Salvadore couldn't finish the play. In the 87th minute, Ferdinand Vrejiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Niculae Rădvan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Sierocki in the 91st minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Jan Sierocki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niculae Rădvan. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Sierocki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1.
