With a little luck, Sporting de Gijón's Óscar Cordoba got control of the ball when Savaş Yekta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 7th minute, Marco Slütters fired away a shot on goal. A very good chance for a goal. Perrucho FC were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Sporting de Gijón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gabriel Romero took the corner. Óscar Cordoba was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Savaş Yekta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. In the 24th minute, Savaş Yekta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Óscar Cordoba. The goal made the score 2-0. After 26 played minutes Perrucho FC got a freekick which was hit by Savaş Yekta. Horacio Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Óscar Cordoba made a huge save. In the 32nd minute Matias Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Rozarius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Savaş Yekta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Óscar Cordoba made a huge save. A collision led to Perrucho FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Norberto Hori hit a great ball. Remigio Rozarius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Venancio Emesto in the 40th minute of the match. Óscar Cordoba made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Savaş Yekta sent off a good shot on target. Savaş Yekta struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Óscar Cordoba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Perrucho FC. In the 45th minute Diego Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Rozarius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Sporting de Gijón made a substitution. Wayne Rooney replaced Alejandro Rufo. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Bilintx to make the kick off. After 77 minutes of play, Perrucho FC's Savaş Yekta made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Óscar Cordoba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sporting de Gijón made a substitution. Mario Zanabria replaced Venancio Emesto. Savaş Yekta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Óscar Cordoba having to make a save. The throw-in from Carlo Crema in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Perrucho FC's Gabriel Romero. In the 88th minute, Savaş Yekta made a precise shot to the right of Óscar Cordoba. Sporting de Gijón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Savaş Yekta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Savaş Yekta sped through Sporting de Gijón's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Óscar Cordoba. Sporting de Gijón's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
