Óscar Cordoba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cui Qing in the 33rd minute. Henrikas Stulpinas kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Absoliut's Robertas Sabaitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Emesto in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Matias Bilintx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting de Gijón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Bilintx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sporting de Gijón made a substitution. Mario Zanabria replaced Venancio Emesto. Sporting de Gijón's Matias Bilintx was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 83rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Absoliut's Algitas Girkantas was substituted for Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting de Gijón's goalkeeper Óscar Cordoba, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
