The corner led Deportivo Mukenio's Mario Hever to fire away a dangerous shot which Lei Zhen De despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 27th minute, Robert Bergman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lei Zhen De showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aziz Akarsu in the 28th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Ola Moland heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Ismael Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Bergman in the 36th minute of play. Deportivo Mukenio's Ismael Gimenez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomil Topolski in the 40th minute of play. After 42 minutes of play Deportivo Mukenio's Mircea Buciuceanu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Mosjö Sportklubb booed when Deportivo Mukenio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mircea Buciuceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jean-Pierre Pogba fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Mukenio's protests and gave Jean-Pierre Pogba a yellow card for diving instead. Jean-Pierre Pogba hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Robert Bergman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Ismael Gimenez made a huge save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Deportivo Mukenio's Ismael Gimenez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalton Bennett in the 52nd minute of play. Ismael Gimenez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Bergman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Deportivo Mukenio's Lei Zhen De threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aziz Akarsu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Deportivo Mukenio booed when Mosjö Sportklubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard De Greef didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute of the match, Aziz Akarsu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lei Zhen De saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 77th minute of the match Mario Hever sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lei Zhen De skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Arnold Mühren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ismael Gimenez was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. 83 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mukenio's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomil Topolski came free, but Ismael Gimenez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
