A nice corner shot did that Moussa Kabre got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andrés Casado quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dorian Moraes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Andrés Casado firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 34th minute Fedele Moretti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Bertoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Taffarel having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Tony Stark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorian Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Alfredo Martins made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Altuğ Yakup reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dida Taffarel. The goal made the score 1-1. Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Altuğ Yakup in the 56th minute of play. Elian Müller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Taffarel having to interfere. Dida Taffarel made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Fedele Moretti sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Dida Taffarel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elian Müller got free with Dida Taffarel in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goal looked a bit too open when Fedele Moretti came free, but Dida Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Altuğ Yakup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aragorn's Witomir Zuraw was substituted for Elian Müller. Dida Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fedele Moretti in the 81st minute. With his leg Dida Taffarel managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when Aragorn's Tony Stark fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Moretti in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Aragorn getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Feliks Orszak hit a great ball. Gaston Gonzalez charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaston Gonzalez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
