In the 21st minute of the match, Fedele Moretti tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dida Taffarel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Moretti in the 37th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Aragorn's Fedele Moretti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dida Taffarel. That made the score 2-0 after 44 minutes of play. Altuğ Yakup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Altuğ Yakup in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goal looked a bit too open when Altuğ Yakup came free, but Dida Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Fedele Moretti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Dida Taffarel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute Alfredo Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrés Casado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Altuğ Yakup in the 61st minute of play. Dida Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Altuğ Yakup, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 63 minutes of play, Aragorn's Altuğ Yakup made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dida Taffarel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dida Taffarel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Tokarczyk in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Aragorn's goalkeeper Andrés Casado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dorian Moraes. In the 69th minute Marquês de Herval were awarded a corner. Moussa Kabre went to the cornerflag to take it. Aragorn's Andrés Casado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorian Moraes in the 78th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Stark came free, but Dida Taffarel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dida Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Moretti in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute German Cano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrés Casado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Aragorn's Altuğ Yakup got a free kick in the 89th minute. When Alfredo Martins came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Marquês de Herval fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredo Martins couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Aragorn fans cheered their team off the field, for while Marquês de Herval had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
