Sebastian Xabier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leysus Oktavianus in the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Keep Walking Project's zone, Ulrico Herzog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Xabier came out of the goal and Ulrico Herzog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 14th minute of play. Renan Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Kořán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lionel-Andrés Messi hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Sebastian Xabier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrico Herzog in the 22nd minute of the match. Matanza and Steelers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Marian Maghiran scored to the left of an out of position Renan Mendes, making the score, 1-0. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Keep Walking Project's goalkeeper Sebastian Xabier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute Lionel-Andrés Messi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renan Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 30th minute of play forced Matanza and Steelers's goalkeeper Renan Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Tiberiu Loga put in a rough tackle. In the 34th minute of the match Matanza and Steelers got a corner. Keep Walking Project's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jimmy Örtendal ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 36th minute Leysus Oktavianus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Xabier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renan Mendes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Galo van Basten in the 38th minute. Galo van Basten hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. When Leysus Oktavianus came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Matanza and Steelers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leysus Oktavianus couldn't finish the play. Renan Mendes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hafız Öztekin in the 42nd minute. Sebastian Xabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervaso Abenda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galo van Basten scored 2-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Renan Mendes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Galo van Basten made the kick off in the second half. Renan Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galo van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Sebastian Xabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leysus Oktavianus in the 60th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Galo van Basten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renan Mendes was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. But to his dismay, Marian Maghiran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Renan Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marian Maghiran, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Maghiran in the 84th minute of play forced Matanza and Steelers's goalkeeper Renan Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lionel-Andrés Messi hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Sebastian Xabier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wiliam Peixoto in the 92nd minute. Marian Maghiran charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marian Maghiran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes Keep Walking Project got a freekick which was hit by Marian Maghiran. Matanza and Steelers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
