Ermano Villahoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Niculae Romanescu made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Michaël Guillot's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apostolis Porros was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ermano Villahoz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Niculae Romanescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okanalp Tuncel, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Apostolis Porros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michaël Guillot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Velimir Bostandzhiev got free with Apostolis Porros in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
