Ni Tian Peng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gottlieb Hammer in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the game, Gottlieb Hammer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ni Tian Peng was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karsten Zielinski made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Thanos Kalikis sent off a good shot on target. Nikos Valassiou who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Karsten Zielinski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Balus Treter were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after El Pinar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ntinos Karsiotis took the corner. After taking down the ball on Balus Treter's corner Ntinos Karsiotis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ni Tian Peng quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, El Pinar's Celedonio Llin got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Ntinos Karsiotis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and El Pinar's Ni Tian Peng didn't even have to move. Ni Tian Peng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gottlieb Hammer's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Toma Merlushkin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Karsten Zielinski made a huge save. Balus Treter's Jacob van der Werff got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacob van der Werff struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Ni Tian Peng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balus Treter. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gottlieb Hammer to make the kick off. Ni Tian Peng was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Gottlieb Hammer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gottlieb Hammer really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Ni Tian Peng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob van der Werff in the 86th minute of the match.
