The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zbyszko Leper came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by KKS Legia Deptaka's Feliks Wojton. But to his dismay, Feliks Wojton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of KKS Legia Deptaka booed when BYDGOSTIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Piesciuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to BYDGOSTIA getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Emil Piesciuk hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Olgierd Kowalski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dominik Pachucki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as KKS Legia Deptaka's Feliks Wojton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zbyszko Leper. That made the score 2-1 after 17 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, BYDGOSTIA's Emil Piesciuk got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Patryk Zgonina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dominik Pachucki. KKS Legia Deptaka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patryk Zgonina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliks Wojton in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zbyszko Leper saved BYDGOSTIA from getting behind. Feliks Wojton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Zbyszko Leper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute of the match, Lech Pisarcik tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zbyszko Leper saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 42 minutes in the game Emil Piesciuk did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Olgierd Kowalski. The crowd rose to their feet as Feliks Wojton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zbyszko Leper. That made the score 3-2 in the 45 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

In the 53rd minute Olgierd Kowalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominik Pachucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KKS Legia Deptaka's Rafal Lichorobiec managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vladislav Sarafov in the 58 minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Feliks Wojton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KKS Legia Deptaka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. 62 minutes into the match, BYDGOSTIA's Olgierd Kowalski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dominik Pachucki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Feliks Wojton took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zbyszko Leper. Zbyszko Leper dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lech Pisarcik in the 71st minute of play forced BYDGOSTIA's goalkeeper Zbyszko Leper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in KKS Legia Deptaka's zone, Olgierd Kowalski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Pachucki came out of the goal and Olgierd Kowalski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Leszek Maziarz made a precise shot to the right of Zbyszko Leper. BYDGOSTIA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. BYDGOSTIA made a substitution. Marcin Prusinowski replaced Piotr Gorzkiewicz. BYDGOSTIA's Yu Ran Fan was substituted for Emil Piesciuk. Leszek Maziarz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbyszko Leper read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KKS Legia Deptaka fans cheered their team off the field, for while BYDGOSTIA had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
