KS Hetman Zamosc's Wojtek Dziura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save KS Hetman Zamosc from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's goal looked a bit too open when Sonny Tirsberg came free, but Samuel Fiúza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sonny Tirsberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Fiúza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The throw-in from Bogumil Motyl in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Gremio Viana's Amado Melo. 18 minutes into the match, KS Hetman Zamosc's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang De came free, but Wojtek Dziura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in KS Hetman Zamosc's zone, Augustin Panaiteanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wojtek Dziura came out of the goal and Augustin Panaiteanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, KS Hetman Zamosc's Wojtek Dziura got control of the ball when Jiang De tried to sneak it across the goal line. KS Hetman Zamosc's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicholas Blum in the 25th minute. Tony Påk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gremio Viana's Amado Melo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leszek Wlodyga, made in the 33rd minute of the game. 35 minutes into the match, KS Hetman Zamosc's goal looked a bit too open when Jiang De came free, but Wojtek Dziura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gremio Viana booed when KS Hetman Zamosc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogumil Motyl didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jiang De sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jiang De to strike the kick off in the second half. Wojtek Dziura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jiang De's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Wojtek Dziura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jiang De in the 56th minute of the match. Wojtek Dziura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jiang De, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by KS Hetman Zamosc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Augustin Panaiteanu was slow to take the kick. During this time Gremio Viana's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Tony Påk almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KS Hetman Zamosc's Wojtek Dziura did a great save. When Augustin Panaiteanu fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gremio Viana's protests and gave Augustin Panaiteanu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of KS Hetman Zamosc booed when Gremio Viana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustin Panaiteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gremio Viana made a substitution. Carlos Luna replaced Jiang De. A collision led to Gremio Viana getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Augustin Panaiteanu hit a great ball. Sonny Tirsberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wojtek Dziura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Luna in the 72nd minute of the match. Sonny Tirsberg struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Samuel Fiúza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Hetman Zamosc. Gremio Viana made a substitution. Mohamed Ali Bomba replaced Severino Torcato. Gremio Viana's Antonio Calisto was substituted for Tony Påk. 78 minutes into the match, KS Hetman Zamosc's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Luna came free, but Wojtek Dziura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 85th minute of the game was made by Leszek Wlodyga with Sonny Tirsberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Bogumil Motyl kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Gremio Viana's Amado Melo got a free kick in the 88th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Carlos Luna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wojtek Dziura. KS Hetman Zamosc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Luna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the KS Hetman Zamosc players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gremio Viana.
