In the 14th minute Amedeo De Matteis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Zhan Sang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Delta FS booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Grover didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yao Zhan Sang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Odin went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andaka Mula stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fatih-Sultan Mehmet in the 88th minute of play forced Delta FS's goalkeeper Gualter Roriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fatih-Sultan Mehmet took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualter Roriz. Gualter Roriz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Borussia Dortmund made a substitution. Fernandez Quintairos replaced Tomas Levander. In the 95thth minute of the game Fernandez Quintairos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Delta FS's Gualter Roriz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Delta FS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
