With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristo Rey in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Fiúza saved Gremio Viana from getting behind. After 9 minutes Gremio Viana's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wincent Poling who took care of the corner kick. 14 minutes into the game, Amado Melo threw the ball into play from the sideline. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Francisco Ignado quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 17 minutes of play, Gremio Viana's Augustin Panaiteanu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Uchiha was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the match, Jiang De notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Tony Uchiha. Tony Uchiha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the game, Jiang De cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Tony Uchiha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th play minute Cristo Rey came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Samuel Fiúza. 1-3. Samuel Fiúza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Rey in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Gremio Viana booed when R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Ignado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristo Rey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Samuel Fiúza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Rey in the 34th minute of play. Samuel Fiúza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristo Rey went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristo Rey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Tony Uchiha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiang De in the 53rd minute of play. Higino Queirós made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Danilo Illart. 56 minutes into the match, R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's goalkeeper Tony Uchiha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jiang De. In the 62nd minute, Danilo Illart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Orlando Quintan was substituted for Gerardo Chabier. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Barni Irigoyen was substituted for Adışirin Azayev. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И made a substitution. Alfonso Ponce replaced Don King. The supporters of Gremio Viana booed when R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Illart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tony Uchiha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Luna in the 72nd minute. When Cristo Rey came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Rey couldn't finish the play. Gremio Viana's Mohamed Ali Bomba was substituted for Severino Torcato. Higino Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Rey in the 84th minute of play forced Gremio Viana's goalkeeper Samuel Fiúza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Cristo Rey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel Fiúza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristo Rey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Barni Irigoyen got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's goal looked a bit too open when Barni Irigoyen came free, but Samuel Fiúza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gremio Viana's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
