The player immediately received a yellow card. 13 minutes into the match, La Maquina 9-12-18's goalkeeper Jose Vimaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pipis Karapatakis. Jose Vimaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pipis Karapatakis in the 13th minute. Jardel Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Vachon, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute of the match La Maquina 9-12-18 got a corner. Grêmio FBPA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dario Gelacio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Vachon in the 18th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo Vachon in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jardel Sanches prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jardel Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Vachon in the 23rd minute of play. La Maquina 9-12-18's Jose Vimaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pipis Karapatakis in the 24th minute of play. Jose Vimaro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pipis Karapatakis in the 26th minute. A nice corner shot did that Darío Pereyra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jose Vimaro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jardel Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Bieito in the 33rd minute of the match. When Pipis Karapatakis came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Grêmio FBPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pipis Karapatakis couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pipis Karapatakis got free with Jose Vimaro in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute of the match La Maquina 9-12-18 got a corner. Grêmio FBPA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dario Gelacio ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led La Maquina 9-12-18's Dario Gelacio to fire away a dangerous shot which Jardel Sanches despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Pipis Karapatakis came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Grêmio FBPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pipis Karapatakis couldn't finish the play. Humberto Locaio kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carmelo Vachon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Bieito came free, but Jardel Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Jardel Sanches had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natalio Bieito. Pipis Karapatakis scored 1-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jose Vimaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jose Vimaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pipis Karapatakis in the 70th minute of play. Pipis Karapatakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Pipis Karapatakis notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of La Maquina 9-12-18's Jose Vimaro. Jose Vimaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jardel Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Vachon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shpëtim Kume recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grêmio FBPA's Ted Hoogenkamp was substituted for Filiph Biörling. Jardel Sanches made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Natalio Bieito sent off a good shot on target. After 82 minutes of play, Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jose Vimaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Pipis Karapatakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jose Vimaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0.
