An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Vergílio in the 4th minute of play forced Red Reign's goalkeeper Dawid Ratulowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Bai Cheng Kang got a free kick in the 8th minute. After 10 minutes of play, Red Reign's Maximo Villamarin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Walme was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Red Reign's Dawid Ratulowski got control of the ball when Lei Feng Yan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match, Breno Vergílio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dawid Ratulowski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aurelio Walme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Geovani Medeiros got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goalkeeper Aurelio Walme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Xavion Sorriva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Red Reign's goal looked a bit too open when Breno Vergílio came free, but Dawid Ratulowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute, Wincenty Szel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Maximo Villamarin made the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Walme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Villamarin came free, but Aurelio Walme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Lei Feng Yan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dawid Ratulowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Owsiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dawid Ratulowski having to interfere. Red Reign made a substitution. Kaviedes Fuentecilla replaced Wincenty Szel. Red Reign's Armando Hera managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bai Cheng Kang in the 68 minute of the game. Maximo Villamarin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Aurelio Walme made a huge save. Aurelio Walme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Villamarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Dawid Ratulowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
