In the 3rd minute, El ABUELO FC's Isidoro Azevedo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Isidoro Azevedo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving João Augusto Quintal. That made the score 2-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match, Isidoro Azevedo got a very nice opportunity to score, but João Augusto Quintal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Laurence Peacock kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute of the match Juan de Almeida sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orlando Rudolfo skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Valadares in the 16th minute of play forced El ABUELO FC's goalkeeper Orlando Rudolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to MUSHIBA FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gilmar Meira hit a great ball. Isidoro Azevedos short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got João Augusto Quintal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Isidoro Columbo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. João Augusto Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Columbo in the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Maurinho Valadares made a precise shot to the right of Orlando Rudolfo. El ABUELO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Toninho Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isidoro Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. El ABUELO FC's Orlando Rudolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurinho Valadares in the 36th minute of play. Orlando Rudolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinho Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Orlando Rudolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Maurinho Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MUSHIBA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maurinho Valadares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidoro Azevedo to make the kick off. A collision led to MUSHIBA FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Maurinho Valadares hit a great ball. João Augusto Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Azevedo in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute Isidoro Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Rudolfo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudinho Tande went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to El ABUELO FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Celestino Fix hit a great ball. Orlando Rudolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo Neiva in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Laurence Peacock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan de Almeida struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Orlando Rudolfo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MUSHIBA FC. MUSHIBA FC's João Augusto Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Azevedo in the 87th minute of play. Orlando Rudolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinho Tande in the 89th minute. Claudinho Tande came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Orlando Rudolfo could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Valadares in the 94th minute of play forced El ABUELO FC's goalkeeper Orlando Rudolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinho Tande might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orlando Rudolfo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudinho Tande ran back to his position shaking his head. Despite being the better team, MUSHIBA FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
