Cityzens Mdz's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Johannes Stein ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Erasmo Zanette almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cityzens Mdz's Melkior Thorslev did a great save. In the 22nd minute Wilson Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melkior Thorslev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melkior Thorslev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Andrade in the 35th minute of the match. Cityzens Mdz's Jimmy Zambata quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Johannes Stein, made in the 42nd minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Thomas Ravelli successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damaso Lain to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes GLADIADORES got a freekick which was hit by Walery Koprowski. In the 58th minute Wilson Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melkior Thorslev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilson Andrade in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melkior Thorslev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind GLADIADORES's goalkeeper Thomas Ravelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thomas Ravelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Larra in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Wilson Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melkior Thorslev was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. GLADIADORES's Paşa Safih was substituted for Moisés Dayan. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damaso Lain in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damaso Lain in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomas Ravelli saved GLADIADORES from getting behind. Marcel Catarinense hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, GLADIADORES's goal looked a bit too open when Sixto Larra came free, but Thomas Ravelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Anacleto Rozarius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melkior Thorslev was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. GLADIADORES's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
